The topic-validation procedure I use with my own researchers. It walks you through it phase by phase, and tells you plainly when there is no real topic there yet.

Reference Audit
Checks every reference in a manuscript against the live scholarly record, then reports what it actually found. It never certifies a reference as sound, and it never calls one fake. An unregistered DOI is reported as not registered with Crossref, and nothing stronger.

Checks one reference against Crossref, the agency that issues most scholarly DOIs. Returns the real author list, volume, pages and both publication years, so you can see exactly what differs.
/verify_referenceA famous paper's citation count says nothing about whether it still matters.
Fetch any paper by DOI for its influential citation count and its year-by-year trajectory.

Install the connector
This is the screen you are looking for, under Customize in the Claude sidebar.
- Open claude.ai, then Customize, then Connectors.
- Click Add at the top right (some versions show a +), then Add custom connector.
- Name it FastTrack Literature Connector.

Paste this as the URL, then click Add.

Install a Skill
Download either zip, then in Claude go to Customize, then Skills, and upload it. No need to unzip. To use it later, type / in any chat and pick it. You can install both, and add more as I release them.
